Burleson fourth graders found out just what it takes to be a fire fighter thanks to the free Junior Fire Academy hosted by the Burleson Fire Department. Students watched as fire fighters cut apart a car. The junior fire fighters did search and rescue in the training tower and learned how to handle fire hoses. Students received their own bunker gear, learned about disaster safety, and got to look inside a ground ambulance and an air ambulance. The 12 students included Sydney Lozier, Lindy Spann, Alex Miranda, Hunter Prescher, Walker Mason, Cason Griffin, Jaden Griffin, Christopher Gonzalez, Cameron Lewis, Rebecca Singletary, Courbin Prichard and Allysa Remington.
