Arson is an equal-opportunity danger
Arson is destructive and dangerous. It doesn't discriminate between the elderly or infants or between businesses, homes, churches or vacant buildings. That's part of the message that the City, Fire Marshal Stacy Singleton, and Burleson fire fighters want to get across during Arson Awareness Week/Community Arson Prevention. A proclamation dedicating the week of May 2-8 to that cause was presented by Mayor Ken Shetter to Fire Marshal Stacy Singleton and the fire fighters at the May 3 Burleson City Council meeting.
