Coming Soon ... Aquatic Therapy with Occupational and Speech Therapists |
The properties of water allow the body to be supported in different ways than when on land. This allows occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists to help your child's muscles relax, strengthen, or move with more fluidity and strengthen faster for functional outcomes on land. Working with a therapist in the water can help with feeding skills, articulation, language development, walking, sitting, playing, handwriting and respiratory health.
