Coming Soon ... Aquatic Therapy with Occupational and Speech Therapists

The properties of water allow the body to be supported in different ways than when on land. This allows occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists to help your child's muscles relax, strengthen, or move with more fluidity and strengthen faster for functional outcomes on land. Working with a therapist in the water can help with feeding skills, articulation, language development, walking, sitting, playing, handwriting and respiratory health. Handwriting Therapy - Handwriting Without Tears Program

Don't wait for school to start to get ahead. Does your child have trouble holding his/her pencil correctly? Have difficulty forming letters? Challenged to sit properly at a desk? This therapy emphasizes improving your child's handwriting skills by engaging in fine motor, bilateral coordination and visual-motor integration activities that improve your child's overall grasp, posture and core strength.

The celebrated "Handwriting Without Tears" program is utilized, and will be used to focus in on your child's specific areas of need including: letter formation, size, alignment and spacing. A variety of creative movement, play, and art activities will be incorporated in order to make hand-writing engaging and fun!
