Reminder: tonight's mixer at Pastimes Pub & Grill
|
Young Professionals of Worthington (YPoW) ... Join us tonight for a mixer and an opportunity to get to know other young professionals in the Chamber.
Join other young professionals ages 21-39 tonight, Aug. 7, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Pastimes Pub & Grill, 1333 Worthington Centre Drive (in the shopping center at the intersection of Worthington-Galena and Park Roads).
Enjoy free food courtesy of Pastimes, beverages at Happy Hour prices, networking and social exchange with other YPs. Network with other young professionals and enjoy some fun activities. Pre-registrants are eligible for door prizes.
The event is free for current YPoW participants, but registration is required. Prospective members may attend one YPoW event free of charge (but must register) while considering membership.
Click REGISTER NOW in the box at right and follow the prompts on the event Web page, clicking SUBMIT after completion. You'll receive a confirmation e-mail when successfully registered.

Encourage others to participate in YPoW
|
Encourage your co-workers and friends to participate in Young Professionals of Worthington, a subgroup of the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce.  Young professionals whose employers are Chamber-member companies pay a participation fee of $30 per year, renewable in the same month as their company's Chamber membership dues.
Young professionals who are interested in attending YPoW events as guests (including spouses and friends who may wish to accompany you to Chamber events), but whose companies are not Chamber members, may join YPoW at a fee of $99 per year. Their membership privileges will apply to YPoW events and programs only.
Year-round sponsors of YPoW, Chamber Sustaining Members and large companies whose owners would like to prepay membership for a large number of young professionals will be eligible for group discounts.

DataCenter.bz to host August Business After Hours
| Explore the capabilities of DataCenter.BZ as you enjoy great networking, food, beverages and door prizes at the Chamber's next Business After Hours on Thursday, Aug. 16, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m., at 555 Scherers Court (43085).
 DataCenter.BZ operates Ohio's premier carrier-neutral data center and the largest and only purpose-built colocation center in central Ohio. The wholly owned campus maintains one of Ohio's largest collections of carrier, municipal and private fiber networks, serving as a critical point of interconnection for over two dozen Tier 1 and other major networks.
Reflecting on recent severe weather woes, Mike Scherer of DataCenter.BZ plans a "disaster plan" related theme for a variety of door prizes and a menu of food and drink from fellow Chamber-member businesses.
Monthly Business After Hours (BAH) events are designed to give Worthington Chamber members the opportunity to network with other members in an informal setting and to learn more about Chamber member businesses.
We encourage pre-registration. Select the registration link in the "COMING UP" box, above left, to reach the event website, and follow the prompts. Be sure to click "SUBMIT." You'll receive an e-mail confirmation when successfully registered.
Members who pre-register by 1 p.m. on Aug. 16 will receive preprinted name tags and eligibility for door prizes.
Attendance at BAH events is considered a privilege of membership. Please note our guest policy: Members may attend this event free of charge. Guests (spouses, friends, and referrals who are considering membership) are welcome at $20 per person. The guest fee is credited toward membership dues to those who join the organization. The fee is payable in advance or at the door by credit card, check or cash. |
