York Golf Club hosts chamber outing on Sept. 10
strokeDo you enjoy golf -- or the networking and business exposure opportunities that are associated with it? Then, save the date for our Chamber's annual golf outing (Monday, Sept. 10, at York Golf Club) and consider extending the networking experience to include a role as a volunteer.

Corporate sponsors for the event include The Laurels of Norworth and The Laurels of Worthington, along with B&C Blacktop Sealing Co.

Fifth Third Bank and Comfort Inn Polaris will serve as beverage cart sponsors. Friendship Village of Columbus is a putting green sponsor.

Additional sponsorship opportunities are now available, ranging from $125 to $1,600. Chamber members, co-workers, neighbors and friends are encouraged to sign up for the scramble-type outing as an individual golfer ($125) or for a foursome ($500).

Call 888-3040 to let us know how your business would like to find a "sweet spot" at the 2012 Chamber Golf Outing!

DataCenter.bz to host August Business After Hours
Explore the capabilities of DataCenter.BZ as you enjoy great networking, food, beverages and door prizes at the Chamber's next Business After Hours on Thursday, Aug. 16, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m., at 555 Scherers Court (43085).

DataCenter.BZ operates Ohio's premier carrier-neutral data center and the largest and only purpose-built colocation center in central Ohio. The wholly owned campus maintains one of Ohio's largest collections of carrier, municipal and private fiber networks, serving as a critical point of interconnection for over two dozen Tier 1 and other major networks.

Reflecting on recent severe weather woes, Mike Scherers of DataCenter.BZ plans a "disaster plan" related theme for a variety of door prizes and a menu of food and drink from fellow Chamber-member businesses.

Monthly Business After Hours (BAH) events are designed to give Worthington Chamber members the opportunity to network with other members in an informal setting and to learn more about Chamber member businesses.

We encourage pre-registration. Select the registration link in the "COMING UP" box, above left, to reach the event website, and follow the prompts.  Be sure to click "SUBMIT." You'll receive an e-mail confirmation when successfully registered.

Members who pre-register by 1 p.m. on Aug. 16 will receive preprinted name tags and eligibility for door prizes.

Attendance at BAH events is considered a privilege of membership. Please note our guest policy: Members may attend this event free of charge. Guests (spouses, friends, and referrals who are considering membership) are welcome at $20 per person. The guest fee is credited toward membership dues to those who join the organization. The fee is payable in advance or at the door by credit card, check or cash.
