"Share your gifts" at Women's Business Network event
|  Call this morning (888-3040) if you would still like to attend our holiday luncheon of the Women's Business Network ... cancellations sometimes leave room for last-minute registrants!
What products, services or distinguishing features are the gifts your business provides throughout the year? You'll have an opportunity to boast about your best when you join the Women's Business Network of the Chamber for a special "Share Your Gifts" holiday luncheon on Thursday, Dec. 2, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse, 55 Hutchinson Ave. Columbus, OH 43235.
Cost: $20/Chamber members; $30/non-members. Support our scholarship fund by making announcements ($5/member; $10/guest) and participating in door prize drawings ($1/member/guest).
We invite you to participate in a gift exchange/networking activity during the luncheon. Bring a fashion, household or office accessory, enclosed in a gift bag or plain paper bag that does not disclose the contents. In order determined by random drawing, each luncheon guest will select a gift to open, as she introduces herself and describes the "gifts" she and her Chamber-member company provide throughout the year. (Limit your introduction to 90 seconds, please.)
Optional: Share a gift of non-perishable (canned or packaged) food with the Worthington Food Pantry. Bring your donation to the luncheon.

Celebrate the holidays Italian-style at Dec. 7 BAH
|  Celebrate the holiday season Italian-style at at our next Business After Hours, on Tuesday, Dec. 7, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at Carrabba's Italian Grill, 8460 Lyra Drive, off Polaris Parkway.
Wrap up the year with great appetizers and beverages from Carrabba's and networking with other Chamber members. After the event, stay for dinner, purchase some Carrabba's gift cards as holiday gifts, or cross the parkway to do holiday shopping at Polaris Fashion Place.
Monthly Business After Hours (BAH) events are designed to give Worthington Chamber members the opportunity to network with other members in an informal setting and to learn more about Chamber member businesses.

You'll receive an e-mail confirmation when successfully registered. Young Professionals plan mixer and recruitment event
|  Young Professionals of Worthington (YPoW), an affiliated subgroup of our Chamber, invites current and prospective YPoW members to a mixer and recruitment event on Thursday, Dec. 16, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Hyatt Place Columbus/Worthington, 7490 Vantage Drive (Crosswoods area).
Not yet signed up as a YPoW member? This is your chance! The event is free for YPoW members. For prospective members, $30 is your admission to the event AND your annual membership fee if your company is a current Chamber member.

Get Smart Book Discussion Group set to explore
how to "Make Your Contacts Count"
| The Get Smart Book Discussion Group, a collaboration between Worthington Libraries and the Chamber, has chosen effective networking as its next area of focus. The group will read "Make Your Contacts Count: Networking Know-How for Business & Career Success" by Anne Baber & Lynn Waymon and will discuss it on Jan. 26, beginning at 5:30 p.m., at the Worthington Inn, 649 High St.
 There is no charge to attend the event. Pre-registration is encouraged through the REGISTER NOW link above. Light hors d'oeuvres will be furnished, courtesy of Worthington Libraries and the Chamber, and beverages will be available for purchase.
