On this Veterans' Day, the Chamber salutes many among our ranks who have protected us and served our military. Those who serve us as elected officials will be honored as our guests at our Nov. 18 Business After Hours. If you have not already registered, please do so soon through the link below.
As many of our member companies begin budgeting and scheduling for 2011 activities, it's time to fill in our calendar of Business After Hours, Business Before Hours, lunches, QuickConnect sessions, Lunch and Learns, and subgroup events for the coming year. Meet elected officials at Nov. 18 Business After Hours
| Chamber members will have an opportunity to meet and mingle with elected officials and public servants at our next Business After Hours, on Thursday, Nov. 18, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
 Brookside Country Club, 2770 W. Dublin-Granville Road, will host the event. Don't miss this annual opportunity for face-to-face communication with legislators and leaders serving the Worthington area.
Enjoy food, beverages, door grizes, and great networking. Monthly Business After Hours (BAH) events are designed to give Worthington Chamber members the opportunity to network with other members in an informal setting and to learn more about Chamber member businesses.
We encourage pre-registration. Select "REGISTER NOW" above to reach the online registration page, and follow the registration prompts. Be sure to click "SUBMIT." You'll receive an e-mail confirmation when successfully registered. Members who pre-register on our website by Nov. 17 at noon will receive preprinted name tags, eligibility for extra door prizes, and listing in the "Know Before You Go" section of the Web site. |

Women's Business Network invites you Share Your Gifts
|  What products, services or distinguishing features are the gifts your business provides throughout the year? You'll have an opportunity to boast about your best when you join the Women's Business Network of the Chamber for a special "Share Your Gifts" holiday luncheon on Thursday, Dec. 2, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse, 55 Hutchinson Ave. Columbus, OH 43235.
Cost: $25/Chamber members; $35/non-members. Support our scholarship fund by making announcements ($5/member; $10/guest) and participating in door prize drawings ($1/member/guest).
Please note: We invite you to participate in a gift exchange/networking activity during the luncheon. Bring a fashion, household or office accessory, enclosed in a gift bag or plain paper bag that does not disclose the contents. (Examples: jewelry, scarf, holiday pin or socks, wallet, business card case, candle, vase, small piece of art, bath fragrance.) In order determined by random drawing, each luncheon guest will select a gift to open, as she introduces herself and describes the "gifts" she and her Chamber-member company provide throughout the year. (Limit your introduction to 90 seconds, please.)
Optional: Share a gift of non-perishable (canned or packaged) food with the Worthington Food Pantry. Bring your donation to the luncheon.
Reservations are required by Nov. 25. Register on the Calendar of Events on the Chamber's website.
