- QuickConnect, the Chamber's direct sales opportunity, is a speedy way to make new connections. Check out the details below on our Nov. 9 QuickConnect at The Depot.
- Young professionals in the age range 21-39 are invited to the Young Professionals of Worthington launch party on Wednesday, Nov. 3, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at G Worthy's. Please see details below, and tweet, e-mail or personally share news of the event with friends and co-workers who might be interested.
- November's Business After Hours offers an opportunity to meet elected officials and public servants. Don't forget to vote tomorrow for the candidates of your choice.
As many of our member companies begin budgeting and scheduling for 2011 activities, it's time to fill in our calendar of Business After Hours, Business Before Hours, lunches, QuickConnect sessions, Lunch and Learns, and subgroup events for the coming year. Young Professionals of Worthington (YPoW) ... Get PoWered up for 2011 at a launch party for YPoW's new program year.
Join other young professionals ages 21-39 on Wednesday, Nov. 3, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at G Worthy's Bar and Grill, 2151 W. Dublin-Granville Road (Route 161 near Linworth Road).

All aboard for QuickConnect on Nov. 9 at The Depot ...
|
 All aboard for the Chamber's November QuickConnect event! QuickConnect is the Chamber's direct sales opportunity for members, giving participants the opportunity to determine quickly if there is a fit in meeting each other's business or personal consumer needs. It's fun, fast and very effective.
The Nov. 9 session will be held at The Depot Events Center, 919 Old Henderson Road, from 8:15 to 10 a.m. (Check-in is at 8:15 a.m. Please be sure to arrive at this time so the start of the timed exercise will not be delayed.) The event will end at 10 a.m. The QuickConnect session is structured so that each participant will make one-on-one contact with 10 others. Participants face each other and have 90 seconds to discuss their company's products or services. Following each contact, participants indicate the next steps, including talking further about doing business; not a fit; and offering a referral. Prior to the session, participants are provided a business profile/feedback form to complete and bring 11 copies to the session.
Registration is required, and commitment to your reservation is important to maintain the correct number and "mix" of contacts for optimum connections. Please register by Oct. 28

Meet elected officials at Nov. 18 Business After Hours
| Chamber members will have an opportunity to meet and mingle with elected officials and public servants at our next Business After Hours, on Thursday, Nov. 18, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
 Brookside Country Club, 2770 W. Dublin-Granville Road, will host the event. Don't miss this annual opportunity for face-to-face communication with legislators and leaders serving the Worthington area.
Enjoy food, beverages, door grizes, and great networking. Monthly Business After Hours (BAH) events are designed to give Worthington Chamber members the opportunity to network with other members in an informal setting and to learn more about Chamber member businesses.
We encourage pre-registration. Select "REGISTER NOW" above to reach the online registration page, and follow the registration prompts. Be sure to click "SUBMIT." You'll receive an e-mail confirmation when successfully registered.
