as the Chamber presents its 13th annual Reds, Whites & Desserts
event on Saturday, May 22, from 7 to 10 p.m. The popular Chamber
fundraiser is hosted this year by Catering by Design, a division of
Sanese Services, at 6465 Busch Blvd.
Other major sponsors of the event are B&C Blacktop Sealing Co., Mount Carmel St.
Ann's and Worthington Jewelers.
This elegant event offers wine tasting and
advice from wine experts, hors d'oeuvres, desserts for sampling and
auction, and dozens of silent auction packages featuring travel, food,
wine, fashion, sports, family fun and other themes. Cocktail or dressy business attire are
appropriate.

 The Chamber's Business After Hours (BAH) will take on a Latin flair when we convene at Cantina Laredo, 8791 Lyra Drive (Polaris Fashion Place) on Tuesday, May 25, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
 Cantina Laredo, a new Chamber member, serves authentic, gourmet Mexican dishes in a sophisticated atmosphere. They offer daily fish specials, grilled chicken and steaks complemented by signature sauces. Fresh guacamole, prepared tableside, and fresh-squeezed lime margaritas are among the specialties.

Celebrate all small businesses and honor one of our own at Small Business Person Award Luncheon May 27
|
 A downtown Worthington merchant who successfully carved a niche in a luxury market during an economic downturn will receive the Chamber's annual Small Business Person of the Year Award at a luncheon in his honor on Thursday, May 27, beginning at 11:30 a.m., at the Worthington Inn.
Join us at the luncheon to congratulate Joe Davis, co-owner of Worthington Jewelers, and to celebrate the accomplishments of small businesses everywhere. Joe is the 24th recipient of the annual award, created in 1987 to demonstrate support for small businesses and recognize successful Chamber members who are growing and bettering the Worthington community.

Mount Carmel St. Ann's CEO to host, address the Women's Business Network at June 3 luncheon

 You're invited to join the Women's Business Network of the Chamber for a luncheon on Thursday, June 3, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at Mount Carmel St. Ann's, 500 S. Cleveland Ave., Westerville.
Featured speaker Janet Meeks, chief executive officer of Mount Carmel St. Ann's, will share her experiences and observations on women in leadership and will acquaint you with some of the areas in which Mount Carmel St.  Ann's has led the way in women's health and other health care areas, including the development of a full-service heart center over the next five years.
