Dear , Thursday, April 15, 2010
DEADLINE is a familiar word today, as many of us scramble to file income taxes by day's end. Deadlines are approaching for several important Chamber opportunities, as well.
Don't miss the opportunity to network with others, say "thanks" to staff, co-workers and other team members, and learn some balancing/time management/office humor skills at next Tuesday's Staff Appreciation Luncheon at Worthington Hills Country Club. Please register by tomorrow(Friday, April 16). Please note that the Women's Business Network will not meet this month, and members who typically attend WBN luncheons are encouraged to join us on April 20 to enjoy Pat Snyder's presentation at the Staff Appreciation Luncheon.
Tomorrow is also the deadline for reserving an exhibit at the Health & Wellness Fair at YMCA North (April 27). Even if you are not exhibiting, be sure to mark the date on your calendar and plan to attend the event to sample the variety of information, giveaways, demonstrations, screenings and healthy foods. Plan to bring the whole office team, as well as friends and neighbors. The Chamber's Young Professionals Group has planned the event, sponsored by Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield.
Also coming up soon: Learn more about the proposed income tax levy at a Lunch and Learn on April 22 ... and reserve your place for Reds, Whites & Desserts, the Chamber's major fundraiser. Details are below.
