Greetings!
It's the time of year for giving thanks, looking back at our accomplishments, and looking forward to the goals we have set for the coming year. Every thing we do, we do with you in mind.
It's been an exciting year! October marked Dreamweavers' 7th anniversary! We are delighted that many of our staff and consumers were there when we first opened our doors and remain with us today.
This year has been exciting in many ways. Dreamweavers hosted several parties at the Gaston library where we danced and played and worked on crafts together. We had an Easter Egg hunt and relay races at Gardner Park School's field. We had our second Autism Awareness Fair with more than 16 vendors; we expanded our groups to include Music and Movement and an AAC group. We upgraded our computer systems and server, and if you've visited the office lately, you may have noticed our new landscaping! All of these things have been done to ensure that those we serve have the best possible experience at Dreamweavers. We will have our second Christmas Pageant presented by our groups on December 10, 2010, from 4pm-6pm at Hawk's Nest Intermediate School. Everyone is invited!
This is the time of year we ask you to let us know what we do well, what we could do better, and any ideas you'd like to share. We have Suggestion Boxes at our office for your convenience. Please click here to complete and return our consumer survey today. As always, we appreciate your help.
Most of all, we hope you have a safe and happy holiday season!
Betsy Huffstetler, Executive Director
