Meet the Regional Lending Manager for Farm Credit's "Southern Comfort" Region which serves the Effingham, Highland, Nashville, Red Bud, and Shelbyville Branch Offices.

Steve Witges

Steve celebrated his 25th anniversary at Farm Credit earlier this year. He started his Farm Credit career as a trainee at the Farm Credit Bank of St. Louis and then worked in branch offices in Quincy and Vandalia before becoming an account executive in Effingham. Steve interrupted his Farm Credit career with a brief tenure with a community bank in 1994. After his return to Farm Credit in 1995, Steve was named a regional manager in 1999.

Thank you to the thousands of Farm Credit stockholders and friends who stopped by the Farm Credit tent during the show. Congratulations to the winners of nine iPads given away at the end of each performance. Four of the seven winners hailed from the Farm Credit Services of Illinois geography. They include: Greg Burgett, Logan County; Mark Rayburn, Champaign County; Cassie Miller, Effingham County; and Sam Berger, St. Clair County.
