Dear Friends of Texas Armoring, We hope that life is treating you well and that you're staying safe. As you may know, the current political/economic climate throughout the world is not improving. As criminals are getting more desperate, kidnapping-for-ransom attempts are at an all-time high. With that said, below are a few quick stats we thought you might find interesting: - 80-90% of terrorist attacks occur while the
 victims are traveling
by automobile. In recent years over 4,000,000 violent crimes have occurred in
the United States alone. It is believed that between 40,000-60,000 kidnappings take place
each year. . . Almost 70 percent of those kidnappings are resolved by
paying the demanded ransom. Typical kidnapping-for-ransom payments range from $500,000 to
$3,000,000 USD . . . with no guarantees of survival. Phoenix, AZ is the kidnapping capitol of the United States,
second only worldwide to Mexico City.
Given the fact that violence is on the rise, we're very busy here in San Antonio, TX and we're working on lots of new and interesting projects to help protect our clients. We've completed engineering on nearly all of the new 2010/11 BMW, Audi, Land Rover, Mercedes, and Lexus vehicle lineups in addition to a myriad of other makes and models. We've also released versions of our CEO package for the Toyota Sequoia and for the Mercedes-Benz GL550.
