Dare I say it...The Holidays are coming...
My three kiddies have gone back to school (the youngest to full-day Kindergarten - YIKES! Where does the time go?) and I am determined to use my "spare time" (ha!)constructively. The good news for you is that I am thinking up all kinds of fun ideas for portrait sessions and charity events! Please see below for details on my new Holiday Series portrait mini-sessions and autumn outdoor mini-sessions...
For our fall charity event, I am very excited to be taking part in the Operation Smile program for the second year. Last year's promotion was a huge success and I am hoping to be able to donate even more to this worthy cause in 2008! See below for details about the promotion and a very special gift available for those of you who book your sessions right away.
There are several special offers available this season, details of which appear throughout this newsletter. For example, if you have had a portrait session with me in 2008, the following offer is for you! Now through September 30, I am taking 20% off holiday cards and 10% off photo jewelry and handbags when you use photographs from a previous session. I have many new jewelry and card samples and can customize cards to best suit your needs; call or email me to discuss.
The fall is always busy at the studio, and in order for us to ensure on-time delivery of your cards and prints, we need to plan ahead. I have included a list of holiday deadlines below. We will need to stick firmly to our deadlines, so please plan ahead when scheduling your sessions and ordering your holiday gifts.

Holiday Season Mini-Sessions
...it's time to start thinking about your holiday cards!
Here's the good news:
This season we are offering both outdoor and indoor 20-25 minute mini portrait sessions for holiday card photographs! I have put together print and card packages (see below) which include your session. Outdoor sessions will be held at a local park. In response to the many requests that I have received for holiday themed portraiture, this year I am excited to introduce the "Holiday Series" for indoor mini-sessions. As an alternative, you always have the option of scheduling a full-length non-themed session if you wish.
Outdoor Mini-Sessions:
Thursday October 2 9am - 1pm Sunday October 19 9am-4pm

Operation Smile
Fall Fundraiser
Help Make Our Second Annual Charity Event a Success!
Along with other members of the Professional Photographers of America, I have pledged to contribute 25% of all sessions fees during the months of September and October to PPA Charities, which has chosen Operation Smile as its charitable partner.
Operation Smile is an incredible organization of more than 5,000 volunteer health-care professionals who perform free reconstructive surgeries for children suffering with cleft lips, cleft palates and other facial malformations. It costs only $240 to perform a life-changing cleft-lip surgery. More than 100,000 children are born with a facial malformation each year in Operation Smile's 25 partner countries.
I hope you will join with me in helping to make this vital work possible. The holiday season is just around the corner, so there's no better time for a family or children's portrait!
