 Dear Middle Level Educators,
So many exciting things are happening at the Texas Middle School Association! I know just as many exciting things are happening in each of your classrooms and in each of your districts.
Hopefully, you have had a chance to visit our newly improved website. If so, you have already seen our great new features, including our enhanced news features, our featured publications, our membership page, and our accessible, informative and easy-to-navigate, Annual Conference Information.
You probably have noticed that we have added many helpful resources to our site, including our new Consultant's Corner. Here, you will find middle-level articles written by today's top middle-level educator. (Remember to visit this page often as we will be adding more articles and more consultants) You probably have noticed that we have added some wonderful resources from all over the country, including resources from NMSA and NASSP. Our hope is that you will be able to find all your middle level needs right from our website. Our goal is that it will become your "one-stop shop" for all things "in the middle." We truly want our website to be a great tool you can use as you research the middle school and the middle level.
More features will be added soon, including an improved on-line store! Here, you will be able to purchase educational titles, memberships and register for all our workshops and conferences. We will adding podcasts and will be developing a job bank. We will soon feature information about your regional associations. And we will be developing and sharing our own on-site professional development cadre. With this cadre, we will be able to assist you and your district by providing affordable and experienced staff development directly to your school!
