Help Us Stuff The Bus
Hurricane IKE turned the lives of many people upside down. TMSA asks you to help us restore some order to the lives of Galveston ISD students and teachers in a very simple way.
During our conference, we will be accepting donations for our "Stuff The Bus" drive. Special donation drop boxes will be located at various spots (including the exhibit hall) during the conference. Simply drop your item(s) into one of those boxes.
On Saturday, March 7th at 2:00 PM, we will gather up those donations and Stuff the Bus as a yellow school bus pulls up the Convention Center, ready to accept the donations.
Donations Items Include:
For Students:
Solid color, polo-style shirts in navy blue, red, dark green and white: all sizes
Hooded sweatshirts in the same colors: all sizes
Backpacks
Binders
Notebook paper
Colored Pencils
Markers
For Teachers:
Many teachers have lost teaching resources and classroom libraries.
Bulletin board supplies
Copy paper
Colored paper
Art supplies
Pencils
Pens
Staplers
Staples
Dry erase markers
Binders
Most schools cannot even supply printer cartridges so gift cards in any amount to Office Depot (or similar type of store) that can be used to purchase printer cartridges would be appreciated.
