Give Back to Galveston Concert and Reception

The Texas Middle School Association is pleased to "Give Back to Galveston" with a special conference performance by Monte Selby, Steve Seskin, and other special guests. Please plan on attending this unforgettable event, Friday February 6, 2009 from 4:30 - 6:30 pm.

Dr. Monte Selby is a critically acclaimed songwriter and recording artist who shares comical and insightful music for children, parents, and educators. His musical endeavors (featured on network television, radio, pod casts, books, websites, original stage productions, and videos) are cultivated from an award-winning career as a teacher, principal, and professor.

Steve Seskin is a well-known performer and successful songwriter who has written seven number one songs, including Grammy-nominated "Grown Men Don't Cry," and "Don't Laugh at Me," winner of NSAI Song of the Year and Music Row Magazine Song of the Year. His songs are recorded by some of America's biggest current and legendary singers, including Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, and the trio Peter, Paul, and Mary.

The cost for the concert is $40 per person. All proceeds will go to Galveston relief efforts. Registration information can be found in our registration packet.

"Stuff The Bus"

TMSA asks you to help us "Stuff The Bus" for Galveston. We will be filling a school bus with donations (school supplies, toys, clothes) to help the students affected by Hurricane Ike. Please bring your new or "like new" donation items to the conference and help us fill the bus to the brim.
