Greetings!

Are you confident that God has a plan for you?  It may not seem that way many times.  Waiting periods that seem like long delays could be a way to increase your faith. If God gave you everything you wanted instantaneously, you might not learn to walk by faith, ever.

When you are put to the test, do you trust Him, or do you rely on your own circumstances? By clinging to His Word, you will know He never fails to fulfill His promises, and eventually you will see the evidence of His faithfulness every time.

Yes, God has plans for us.  Many times He stops us in our tracks just so we can let the Holy Spirit do a little housecleaning in our lives. The Lord will take us places, and He knows exactly what kind of baggage we need to leave behind!

POINTERS ON STEWARDSHIP

God's Partnership Plan*

1. God is the owner, we are the servants. (MATTHEW 25:14 -the story of

three servants whose master left them specific amounts of money.) The owner

has rights.  Servants have responsibilities. Both giving and

spending decisions are spiritual decisions.   We can fake

prayer, Bible study, witnessing but not our stewardship.

2. Stewardship is a growth process. (MATTHEW 25:21-Faithful in little, now

made in charge of more.) God uses money as a tool, as a test and as

    a testimony.

3. The amount we have is not important. (MATTHEW 25:23)  How we

handle what God gives us, doing our best, and our attitude

towards Him are more important than how much we have

    or how much we receive.

4. Faith relationship with God requires an investment action.

(MATTHEW 25:24-30 - A sad endpoint for the servant who did not invest what the

Master gave him.)  No relationship, no investment action. Faith

is more important than knowledge, as there is a risk factor in

every investment.(No guarantee as to our success or reward.

Doing our best for someone we love is its own reward.)

INVITE A FRIEND

100% Growth in No Time

What if each one of us invited a friend to join us in our Small Group Fellowship or

bible study group?  What if that friend (or family member, or neighbor) consented to come with you at your next meeting?  What if that friend was just waiting to be asked?  What if he or she was searching for a better way of life or a belief system that portrays God as who He really is: a loving God, full of grace, understanding and patience?  What if you became the instrument by which your friend is saved?

If each one brought another one to the foot of the cross, won't we double our numbers?  Better still, won't heaven be joyful over these dear ones to whom salvation became possible?

Completing the Work

"I have brought You glory on earth by completing the work You gave Me to do" (John 17:4).

Have you ever had a big project to do and felt great when you'd finished the job and it was a big success? The Lord has revealed to us that the number one thing we are to do is love the Lord our God with all our heart and to love our neighbor as ourselves. His desire is for us to know Him and the power of His resurrection. These mandates deal with our relationship with Him. The fruit of this relationship must then result in our glorifying Him by completing the work He has given each of us to do. It will become a by-product of this relationship, not an end in itself.

What is the work God has called you to do? Jesus never did anything the Father had not instructed Him to do. He lived in such communion with the Father that He knew when to turn left and when to turn to the right. Is it possible to have such a relationship with our heavenly Father? I think that if it weren't, He would not have given us such an example.

"Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know" (Jer. 33:3). What has He called you to do? Perhaps you are called to be the best lawyer in your city or the best advertising executive or the best office worker or assembly line person in your company. Whatever work He has called you to, He will use you as His instrument to accomplish something that He has uniquely prepared you to do.

When our life is complete, what a glorious day it will be if we can each say, "I have completed the work You gave me to do." This will have brought great glory to Him.

MEN'S BREAKFAST

We look forward to the coming Men's Breakfast Meeting, which is only less than a month away, on Saturday, March 10, at 8:30 a.m.

We will have another guest, Mr. Scott Chang, who is founder and president of the Faith-Based Business Networking International. He is a very dynamic and spirit-filled speaker.  There will be a question and answer period following his remarks at that time.

There will be a sign-up sheet for this event at the church foyer. We know there will be enough food for everyone, if each one who comes pitches in, just like you've done the last two times. Be sure to invite other family members and friends to come with you.

All our men, the young and the young at heart, the seasoned and mature older ones,  are all welcome!

MEDITATION

"Dear Awesome Father in Heaven, I praise Your name, which is above all names. I lift up to You, all those who are weary in their labors. Thank You for strength, encouragement, peace, motivation, wisdom, guidance, rest, and for provision for their every need.

"Thank You for your mercy and for lifting them up through the power and help that only You can give. I know that You will answer the cries of their hearts; that You will revive their exhausted minds and bodies; that You will invigorate their spirits if they will only trust in You to be their ever-present help.

"Thank You for helping those who suffer from unbelief, that they will believe as they see Your love and power at work in their lives. Bless those who love You, Father.

"Thank you in the name of Jesus, who promised to give rest to those who are weary and heavy-laden, myself included, amen.
