Be more involved in advocacy by joining The Leadership Circle
In March of 2008, Governor Steve Beshear met with
members of the Chamber's Leadership Circle and
learned about the need for film industry incentives for
the first time. That meeting started the ball rolling to
film and Broadway incentives being included in the
new HB 3, Incentives for a New Kentucky legislation
that Gov. Beshear signed recently at RiverPark
Center.
Kentucky Attorney General Jack Conway, candidate for
the U.S. Senate, will meet with Leadership Circle
members on September 3rd. Chamber members are
invited to join The Leadership Circle to take part in
meetings of this type where they can ask tough
questions and be more involved in advocacy. Contact
Jody Wassmer by email here if you would like to
know more.
