Emerge Owensboro class applications due this Friday
Applications for the inaugural Emerge Owensboro class are due this Friday, July 17th. Developing leaders and utilizing their talents for the betterment of the community and their employers is the goal of the new Emerge Owensboro, a joint program of the Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Corporation.

Chamber member companies are encouraged to sponsor an employee(s) for the nine-month curriculum. The first class day is September 10th. Class applications can be downloaded here.

Help your business grow by attending the Make a Business Connection this Friday, July 17th from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Commerce Center. A free lunch will be served from Subway. Make a Business Connection is a focused networking event where you tell others about your business and also hear from other local business owners and managers.

Participating small businesses in the Owensboro Buys It! program are required to attend two of the next three Make a Business Connections to qualify for the October 15th expo. Other Make a Business Connections will be August 21st and August 18th.
