Largest Rooster Booster Breakfast of the year is this Thursday
Who will win this year? More than 500 are expected to attend Thursday's Rooster Booster Breakfast which will feature the annual Small Business & Entrepreneur of the Year awards (click here to see this year's nominees) and the 6th Annual Owensboro Has It! expo. Twenty-one businesses and entrepreneurs are vying for the business awards, and 40 companies will display their products and services as part of the business exhibits. Billboards promoting local shopping and sponsors' logos went up around Owensboro last Friday.

The event gets underway at 7:30 a.m. at the Hines Center in Philpot. Reservations should be made by calling the Chamber at 926-1860 or online here.

The Chamber's new Owensboro Buys It! event on October 15th will connect local buyers and sellers. Purchasing decision-makers from large local companies/organizations will meet with smaller businesses who sell products and/or services. Large companies can find local suppliers and save money. Small businesses benefit by meeting local purchasers and also learning how to develop their own "elevator pitch."
