TAU Mother's Day Fundraiser:
Unique and Valuable

You've taken a great deal of care in selecting babysitters and childcare providers for your children.  But have you given any thought to who would care for them in the event that you passed away?  Many parents don't know that a will is not enough to really protect your children.

In honor of Mother's Day, give yourself and your family the gift of peace of mind, while also helping out The Art Underground.

Join local attorney, Art Underground board member, and mom Wendi Temkin for a fun and informative workshop during which you will learn how to avoid the seven common mistakes that could leave your kids in the care of someone you never would have chosen.  Wendi will guide you through a thought-provoking but straightforward process that will help you decide the best people to name as legal guardians for your children in the event of your death or incapacity. Everyone will leave the workshop with a legally enforceable document identifying their long-term guardians.

We are asking for a donation of $20 per family to The Art Underground to attend this special event.  The workshop will be held Thursday evening, May 8th, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. at The Art Underground.  Complimentary childcare will be provided for children between the ages 2-11.  The event will last about an hour and a half.

Space is limited and advanced reservations are required.  Please let us know you will be attending by calling (303) 997-6072 or by emailing [email protected].  We look forward to seeing you there!

*Volunteer Opportunities*

TAU is currently seeking volunteers to help out at our booth this summer during some of Louisville's great summer community events.  TAU maintains a booth presence at many of the fun Louisville Summer community events, including the Friday Street Fair, Music in the Park, Farmer's Market, and the Taste of Louisville.  Volunteers will spend approximately 3-4 hours manning the booth and filling curious visitors in on all the great TAU opportunities. Contact Lori at [email protected] if interested.
