Profiles at TAU: Office Staff

We would like to say a special thank you this month to our office staff: Ileane Olson, Diane Ebbers, Cari Jones, and Tiffany Voeller.  These fine folks do tons of behind-the-scenes work to keep our business up and running.  We would also like to extend a warm welcome to Tiffany, who just joined our team in January as our Office Manager.  Our office hours are 9am-12pm M-Sa and 3:30pm-6:30pm M-F; stop by with questions, payments, or just to say hello!

Dance Shoe Swap

AlicePoster
Alice In Wonderland
opens in just a little more than a month! Performances will be held at Platt Middle School, at the corner of Cherryvale and Baseline, on March 17th and 18th.  Be on the lookout for ticket sale notification.
*Volunteer Needed*

TAU is currently seeking a Volunteer Coordinator to help organize TAU summer booth staffing.  TAU maintains a booth presence at many of the fun Louisville Summer community events, including the Friday Street Fair, Music in the Park, Farmer's Market, and the Taste of Louisville.  While we have several volunteers lined up, we need a point person to help us schedule.   Contact Lori at info@theartunderground.org if interested.

Attention Dance Parents: TAU Shoe Swap

The Art Underground Shoe Swap is now up and running!   If you have kids who have outgrown dance shoes and need new ones, we've developed a system to help everyone recycle their old shoes and save money on buying new ones full price.  Steps for the shoe swap are outlined below.

IF YOU WANT TO SELL:
1. Put your used shoes (in good condition) in a ziplock bag.  If you would like set a price (example $5) for the shoes, please mark it on the bag and your name.  If there is no price, we will assume the shoes are free to a good home.
2. Give the bag to your dance teacher.  We will put it in a bin in the main studio.  PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE SHOES IN THE OFFICE.
3. Periodically, the teachers will check the Shoe Swap bin, look for "sold" bags, and return the money to the name on the bag.

IF YOU WANT TO BUY:
1. Ask to look in the Shoe Swap bin.  (Please do this before or after a class, not during!)
2. If you want to keep shoes, just check the price and put your check or cash in the bag.

The shoe swap will be on an honor system.  Please use it, but don't abuse it.
Parking at TAU

Please be aware that there is more demand for parking while WinterSkate is running.  Most people do not know that there is lower deck parking almost always available at the Louisville Public Library, just one block South of TAU's building. There is also usually some parking available in the parking lot behind our building, as well as on South Street, the first street North of TAU.
