County Road Projects

  1. State Route 9 / State Route 92 Intersection Closure August 10 - 12

Drivers will detour on local highways in Lake Stevens and Marysville. Guy F. Atkinson Construction crews working for WSDOT will close the SR 9/SR 92 intersection from 10 pm Friday, Aug. 10, to 7:30 am Sunday, Aug. 12, to pave, install guardrail, stripe and turn on traffic signal. Detour routes will direct drivers around the closure on local roads. Drivers headed to or from SR 92 will use 42nd St. NE, Lake Cassidy Road/99th Ave. NE. Drivers headed north or south on SR 92 will use Soper Hill Road, 83rd Ave. NE and Sunnyside School Road.

WSDOT is partnering with the City of Marysville on a project to widen the intersection in anticipation of Marysville building a fourth leg of the intersection.

NOISE NOTIFICATION

Please be advised that as a resident or business adjacent to the construction work zone, you may see, hear and feel construction work. To reduce noise, vibrations and inconvenience to area residents, crews will:

  • Use vehicles with ambient sensitive backup warning devices, mufflers, silencers, shields and/or other quieting devices when possible;
  • Use electrical tools and equipment instead of gas-powered tools when possible; and
  • Work during the daytime
