Greetings!

Let's be in the habit of celebrating the breakthroughs - how God is moving in big and small ways. The following account from Mike Powers gives us a wonderful reason to rejoice!

At the beginning of August I had a lot of pain in my kidneys. I made an appointment to see my urologist who, after taking a CAT-scan and x-rays, informed me of a large kidney stone--approximately dime size. He said it couldn't be passed because of the size and would need to be surgically removed or blasted with Lithotripsy. The following week I was prayed for in church and with my ID group. Kevin Rapp had a prophetic vision of the stone breaking apart. In the following days and weeks, I hadn't passed the stone and continued to make preparations to have the Lithotripsy. Before I finalized the plans, however, I made another appointment for a follow-up x-ray to verify if God was going to heal me or if he was going to use this trial in a different way.  After having the x-ray, while I was waiting in the exam room, I could hear my doctor out in the hall putting my x-ray results into the viewing light. At that time I felt a rush come over me and a feeling of intense faith that the new x-ray would show the stone being gone. The doctor opened the door and called me out to see the x-rays. He explained that everything looked great after the Lithotripsy; the stone was completely gone. When I told him I hadn't had the procedure yet, he looked very surprised and asked what procedure did I have? I told him I had healing prayer. He again looked surprised and said, "Well, it's gone." This was a great witness of God's healing power and faithfulness in answering prayer if we only believe.
