Calling All Previous Participants in the cGvHD Telephone Education/Support Group!
Are you a former participant of our four-week Chronic Graft versus Host Disease Telephone Education/Support Group (cGvHD)?
Finding Peace, in the Midst of Uncertainty
Synonomous with the experience of surviving stem cell transplantation and coping with cGVHD is uncertainty: financial, physical, emotional, spiritual, and relational. The burden of uncertainty can weigh heavy on the mind and leave one in a constant state of stress and worry. Mind-body-spirit practices have been around for millenniums, helping people cope with stress and providing some respite with peace. Our focus for this alumni cGVHD support group session will be on meditation, relaxation, affirmations, and imagery practices, as a way to find peace in the midst of uncertainty
Thursday, September 13th, 2012
