April 1st Conficker Worm Threat

 This is an advisory for a Conficker which has been a recent cause of concern. It has been claimed that Conficker virus is programmed to hunt for new instructions on April 1.
However, Windows systems updated with the patch released in Oct 2008 will not be affected by this threat. To know more about Conflicker and to download the required patches, please visit the Microsoft note on Conficker and security bulletin for patching instructions.
