Dec 3-4 Security Jewelers will have Master Gem Cutter Brandt
Whetstone in our store. Brandt will be here both days from 10am - 4pm
demonstrating cutting of gems.He will also evaluate your damaged and chipped gems for repair, even diamonds. Feel free to bring them in anytime. No appointment is needed.
In addition, we will be displaying a major collection of colored gems.
See rubies, emeralds, garnets and sapphires. The whole spectrum of
color, even very rare natural alexandrites.
We also will have an incredible collection of gems from right here in Minnesota. Green stone, thompsonite & agate to name a few. Come see the largest agate found in Minnesota in the last decade. The "Sassy Lassy" weighs over 7 pounds and was found in Island Lake, just North of Duluth.
The first 100 people at the event will receive a free, polished, gem quality Lake Superior agate.
