Hello everyone,

The Canvas of the People, the public input phase for the next long-range plan for the arts in S.C., is in full swing. We've heard from many of you during a Canvas forum or through your answers to the Canvas survey. It's not too late to voice your opinions and share good ideas about the future of the arts in S.C. The final forum is April 8 in Spartanburg, and the survey is still available. You can also read what others have told us, and what South Carolinians think about the arts in general. You'll find more information in this e-newsletter.

There are many exciting reasons to attend the S.C. Arts Gala on May 6.

What do you think is going well in the arts in S.C? What needs improvement? What opportunities do you see ahead? Everyone is invited to share their thoughts about the arts by taking the Canvas of the People 2010 survey. Even if you attended a Canvas forum, you can complete the survey to add more ideas. Encourage your colleagues and friends to complete the survey also. Everyone's opinion counts!
