Jennifer is a Master Hairstylist with over 12 years experience working with very talented stylists as well as companies throughout that time. She brings that experience to Spa85 and we couldn't be more excited to welcome her.

She started her career as a stylist at the age of 17 enrolling in the Jon Louis Academy in Deer Park. Upon graduation she had the opportunity to work with Peter Anthony at Nouvelle in Babylon Village. This experience inspired her to advance her education and enroll in a 2 year intense hands on training course with the Vidal Sassoon academy. Soon after completing her course she developed a knack for editorial design concepts and began mentoring the artistic direction of the salon staff. This training also opened the doors to trips to London and Bermuda where she trained and competed in annual competitions.

She won her first award working with Wellas design team and the following year won first place in the Bumble and Bumble competition for most creative stylist. She became involved in all phases of hair design from formal up do's to avant garde cutting styles and chemical processes. Competing in these events enhanced her confidence and opened up the doors to expand into the fashion industry.

Her passion for creative hair design brought her out of the burbs and into the big city. Working in salons on the upper west side, she had the pleasure of working with top colorists that educated her in color slicing and placement techniques. This allowed her the opportunity to begin to provide guidance and expert advice on advanced cutting and coloring techniques to other professionals.

Her penchant for education brought her to enroll in college for Business Administration. An experience that contributed to her growth both personally and professionally. It inspired her to look at this industry three dimensionally. From a stylists point of view, as an owner and as a business. College reinforced her enthusiasm for this industry and allowed her to refine her communication skills which her clients recognized by a higher level of consultation.

As she continues to build on her experience she is wowing clients with styles designed to accentuate movement and color through proper technique. And we couldn't be happier to have her as part of our phenomenal team. You can view some of Jennifers work on her page by clicking here.
