This just happens to be 1 of my favorite times of the year. Not because of all the holidays and definitely not because of the cold weather. I love this time of the year because of all the award shows showing off the latest looks coming out of Hollywood.

Over the past few weeks we have had the opportunity to watch our favorite stars transform from their movie premier night style to the Golden Globes, then on to the Sag Awards. And in a just a few weeks we will see their final transformation as we watch them walk the red carpet to the Oscars.

So much planning goes into their style and all those photos that get talked about and rated and shared among social networks are what set the next trend in hair. I have mentioned in the past that we are usually on the tail end of the fashion cycle. It starts in Europe and makes it's way through Hollywood and finally it reaches the east coast. That's not necessarily a bad thing because we actually get the creme of the crop when it comes to trends as the bad looks get weeded out early on in the cycle.

Knowing what to look for is what sets a great stylist apart from the rest. We are always scouring the fashion sites and staying on top of our European counterparts in order to keep you on the cusp of what is hot and not letting you take part in what is not.
