Hair All about It! Happy New Year!

It's been another year.

It's hard to believe that another year has gone by. Spa85 celebrates our 6th year this year. We are very excited about the new styles and influences in fashion that we will see this coming year and again we find ourselves preparing for more advanced technical training.

This time of year we all begin to think about our new year resolutions. Our commitments we will make to ourselves, families and friends about the changes we would like to see for the new year. Spa85s' New Year's resolution is to remain dedicated to you, our client. We will continually look for areas where we can improve our service and build upon the foundation that we started out with 6 years ago.

We are making some changes as some of you have already noticed. Recently we had to end our relationship with our nail technician Ieva. Going forward Spa85 will not be offering any nail services. Unfortunately we have been unsuccessful finding a nail technician that shares the same values as the Spa85 team and does not have their own agenda. This has become a distraction for our team and we are now better focused, which our clients have appreciated.

Please remember that this coming Saturday is New Years day. Friday Dec31st we will only be open until 4 pm so make sure you book your appointments before there are no more left.

As the month comes to an end so do our great December promotions. All regularly priced Stylist and Designer services will be discounted by 10%* with coupon. And all spa services (excluding Massage and Nail Services) will be discounted 25% with coupon.

We hope you use these promotions to treat yourself to some much needed you time.

We now have 5 videos posted to Youtube! If you don't already know about our video contest hear is a brief overview. Create a short video of what you love about Spa85 and post it to youtube. The video that gets the most views by Dec 31st 2010 will win a grand prize worth approximately $600. That prize will consist of 2 complete makeover treatments including hair colour, styling and makeup for the Spring/Summer season and then again for the Fall/Winter season. We will also share these videos on our website and facebook page for maximum exposure.

The second place winner will enjoy 25% off all of your regularly priced hair services for the entire year of 2011 and the third prize winner will receive a $100 gift certificate.

By entering this contest and submitting a video you agree and authorize Spa85 to use your video in any promotional material and electronic media outlets. Spa85 will link your video to the Spa85 website, Facebook and youtube pages allowing all of our participants to get maximum exposure.

statuses you will see that we have been extremely booked these past few weeks so we encourage all of our guests to please book well in advance of your desired appointment. We will always try our best to fit you in but you will find it much more enjoyable knowing when your appointment is instead of being squeezed in at the last moment and feeling rushed.

We continue to be visited by many new clients each and every month. We want to thank you all for your referrals. It means so much to us when we hear that we were highly recommended. We hope you continue to use the Spa85 client referral cards. If you need more they are always available at the front desk.

Lastly we need to address some changes we will be making at Spa85. Going forward the $15 blowouts will only be by Karen and Valerie and available to guests that have gotten their colour or hair cut within the last 30 days. Beginning January 2011 we are forced to raise our hair services by $5 and our spa services by $10. We hope you understand that we have gone the past 3 years without raising our prices but with the current rise in supply and operating costs we need to make a slight increase in order to continue to provide you with the very best service and use only the best products on you.
