What do these things have to do with hair or skin care?

Absolutely nothing But recently we enjoyed a great lunch at the new Italian restaurant da noi in Islip and could not have been more pleasantly surprised how great the food was.

We were saddened when we found out that Chris Hunter, Chef/Owner, of In Season decided to close and move to the west coast and consult for other restaurants. In Season was one of our favorite places, especially for mussels.

3 Month ago we noticed the new sign to for da noi and last week we finally we got the chance to stop in for lunch. The new owners Alfonso and George have 20 years of combined experience working in Italian restaurants. With a warm and hospitable greeting we were seated by the garden doors and provided delicious brick oven bread and dipping oil. We couldn't believe all the specials they had. Seared scallops over risotto and pesto sauce, grilled sword fish, and breaded veal cutlet with fresh Mozzarella, arugula, tomatoes with a sherry vinaigrette were just some of the specials for that day.

Their dinner menu includes great dishes such as Oso Buco, grilled yellow fin, cavatelli, Frutti di Mare..... and I can go on and on but now I am hungry. With a menu this fantastic this is soon to become a destination for fine Italian dining. I know we will be back to enjoy more of their great food as well as get to know the two friendly hosts. If you go we'd like to know what you thought as well.
