Last week we introduced all of our clients to our newest service, The Brazilian Blowout. The response has been overwhelming. Many of you have questions that we would like to answer so you can better understand what this service is and how it can help your hair.
The Brazilian Blowout is a treatment that helps you manage your hair better. It is not a permanent service, meaning that it only lasts approximately 12 weeks. It works by applying a super nutrient complex to your hair and through a proprietary polymer system; it bonds a protective layer of protein to the shaft of your hair. This process seals the hair cuticle, filling in any imperfections, making the hair shaft round. Because the hair shaft is now free of faults it is now frizz free and manageable. The hair has a very healthy shine and much easier to blow out.

It is important to understand that the protein does not penetrate the cuticle it only provides a protective layer around the cuticle and will wash away after approximately 12 weeks. Some websites claim it takes only 90 minutes but that is not always the case. In fact we find that it takes on average about 2 ½ hours to get optimal, long lasting results.
This treatment will provide great results after each and every application and it will do it without the harsh chemicals found in other straightening products or produce dangerous vapors that could contain carcinogens.
