In honor of Glorys' achievements over the past 5 years and to congratulate her on her experience that spans over 20 years in the beauty business, I surprised her with a pair of $900 scissors.  How important are a great pair of scissors? Get your haircut by Glory and find out.

 

As important as the advanced education stylists continue to take to advance their skills, and the styling tools they use, scissors can make or break you. Like the sharpness of a Samurai's sword, the stylists' scissors needs to effortlessly slice through the hair. It is necessary for a truly precision cut.

 

If the quality of the blade does not allow it to maintain a proper edge then it will skip or pull the hair shaft, leaving strands that look out of place and a haircut that looks unfinished or does not grow out gracefully.

 

In the past Glory has always selected high quality shears that allowed her to be a cut above the rest, but never quite the caliber of what she now has. It became time for her to realize how much better she can be. And I thought it would be appropriate for her to get these new scissors before she left for her latest advanced styling class. If you loved her cuts before you are going to love the way your hair is going to look now. 

 

Which brings us to her next adventure. This coming Saturday Glory leaves for San Diego for her  advanced styling class. We can't wait to see what new techniques she comes back with. But that also means that she won't return until next Thursday, so make sure you have all of your appointments in order before her book becomes triple booked.
