What a great month February is. Not only do the days get a little bit longer but we all tend to walk with a little extra skip in our step. Maybe it is the anticipation that we will be getting boxes of chocolates and roses or perhaps someone we know will be making the next step in their relationship. For me it is the filet mignon and lobster tail dinner. It is not the only time of year we have filet mignon and lobster tails but it just feels extra special during this month.

 

Another reason February is a great month is because this is the month we begin to see all the summer fashions slowly emerge. With these new fashions we will see all new hair styles and nothing gets us excited like changing someone's look.

 

We started February with a great class. One of many more to come but probably the most important class of the year. This class focused on the basics of a great cut. A refresher course to renew our passion and to fine tune our technique. Like everything in life it is always important to revisit the basics. If you do not master the fundamental elements of a proper haircut you cannot consistently and continually wow your clients. And that is what we focused on today. Laying the foundation for quality precision hair cutting. Over the next few weeks we will continue our education series to really fine tune the skills of this team and I am thrilled that they are as excited as I am to advance their skills.

 

We are also happy to welcome the newest member of our team. Ieva has joined our staff as our newest nail technician.

 

Ieva joins us with over 8 years experience in nail maintenance and design. She trained in Europe for most of her career and brings to us an expertise in Gel nails and nail art.
