 Greetings!
This is another wake-up call - we could call this the "Reality Check" New Moon/Solar Eclipse! At this moment you have yet another opportunity to step into your authority and your mastery in the world, as well as the invitation to fully claim your inner authority. Trust yourself - listen to your inner guidance system and allow it to be your intuitive tracking device; it will never steer you wrong!
We have a New Moon in Capricorn tonight that is also a super-powered Solar Eclipse, so create your intentions, paying special attention to manifesting the structures in your life that you desire. Remember, Solar Eclipses are about new beginnings and often bring in highly-charged events, so watch for what happens around this Eclipse. It may be a singular event or the beginning of a story that unfolds over the next six months. Stay tuned...
Saturn is stationing Retrograde, going back over old structures to test their strength and fit, so that you have a solid foundation from which to create your new, evolved Self and to build your life. Structures that are shaky or outdated won't hold up, so let them go and rebuild!
Since Mercury is moving forward on Jan 15th, you are likely ready for action but Mars is still retrograde, so you can expect revisions on any new projects that you begin before mid-March '10.
Mercury is conjunct Pluto (transformation/upheaval) squaring Saturn on this Solar Eclipse, so dramatic events may take place, hidden truths may come to light, and you may see or experience power plays and drama. If so, don't engage! Take the opportunity to process your unconscious beliefs that dictate YOUR experience of life - the benefits are beyond measure if you step fearlessly into self-inquiry.
Jupiter moves into Pisces for the next five months which brings greater compassion, empathy and it promotes mystical and creative pursuits. This is the energy of expansion, higher truth, and being - connect in and practice feeling - it is heavenly!

Last week I attended a 3-day Platinum Intensive with Divine Feminine business coach Kendall Summerhawk, and 30 women in Tucson, AZ and as a result I'm taking dramatic actions to revamp the structures within my business. I needed the right teacher (authority) in order to make this shift and I'm so grateful that I took the leap and gave myself this gift so that I can step into MY authority.

Solar Eclipse/New Moon in Capricorn

 We have a New Moon in hardworking, ambitious Capricorn on Thursday night, Jan 14th at 11:11 pm PST and on Friday, Jan 15th 2:11am EST. The New Moon is a time of new beginnings, so start something - whether you pursue a dream goal, an idea, plan or project. Put energy into something you want to grow, become stronger or more important in your life. This is the natural time to begin cycles and undertake challenges, as you are supported by the same Lunar energy that rules the tides of the ocean.
The serious planet Capricorn rules commitment, goals, structure, methodical planning, boundaries, responsibility and achievement. Capricorn is reality - where do you need to get real in your life? This is the energy that supports those efforts and because Capricorn is the Lord of Karma, you get back in equal measure what you put out.

Mercury Direct ~ Jan 15, '10
Mercury (planet of communication, information, education) is stationing to go Direct on Friday, Jan 15th but it won't actually move forward until Monday, Jan 18th, as it takes a few days to get going. If you can, wait to make major purchases until the 18th just to get through the potential Eclipse fallout.
You can expect new information to be forthcoming and things should flow a little more easily as you prepare to move forward, sign contracts and make those major purchases. In the days ahead pay close attention to what's being said (and not said), as messages can be verbal or nonverbal. You may be raring to go after putting new business and actions on hold for three weeks, but practice patience - you will be grateful if you do!
Notice what has changed in order to incorporate what you've learned during the retrograde into this next incarnation of your life. Know that you may still encounter tense aspects along the way every now and then, so be flexible. Think of surfing - ride the waves and hold your center in an empowered and relaxed way.

Mars Retrograde

Mars is the planet of action, will, courage, how we get what we want, aggression, sex, and it is the maverick and the warrior. Mars is a "work" planet and it makes things happen, therefore, when Mars goes retrograde you have the opportunity to revisit, regroup or revise your approach to issues, projects and plans - especially what began around Oct 17th.
What arrived in your life during mid-Oct '09? During the next few months you will be making the necessary adjustments, revisions and trying new methods of operating in order to move forward with innovtion and greater productivity regarding the October entry.
Mars Retrograde energy means that you can't function in the same old ways and have things work out. It's time to move in a more instinctual way, guided by intuition rather than the traditional, linear (mental) way. If you persist in your old, outdated ways, you will experience obstacles that can create frustration, so be willing to go within and allow yourself to "feel" into how to move forward. Remember, this is not the time to begin a new job or start new projects if you can help it unless you are prepared to "swim upstream." It's so much easier to go with the flow!
On another note, this is the time when you could have a fling with a lover from your past (Mars is "yang" energy). Just so you know!

Creating New Moon Intentions

New Moon Intentions are a concrete way of claiming what you want in your life.
Because a spark of the Divine is within you, this is the place from which you create. You have the power to manifest your desires when your beliefs are in alignment with them. Check your beliefs and choose your thoughts wisely!
Your New Moon intentions are written statements of what you intend to create in the coming Moon cycle.
Creating Intentions

Create your list on the day of the New Moon if possible

Review your list from the previous month and check off anything received
-
Delete or replace items that are no longer relevant
-
Create your new list and place it on your altar or in a private place
-
Review your list out loud every day to keep your creations conscious
How To Create Intentions

List at least two and no more than ten intentions, so you don't dilute the energy

Start each intention with the words "I create"

Only write what you intend to create (you can't create for someone else)
New Moon Abundance Check

On the day of the New Moon write a check to yourself

Write your name in the section labeled "Pay to the order of"

Write "Paid in Full" in both the amount sections

Sign the check with the words, "Spiritual Law"
