Hello from Forests for Maine's Future.

Celebrate International Earth Day today! Go for a walk in the woods, or on the beach, or even in your neighborhood. Look at the flowers, the grass, the trees. And think, for just a second, about what a miracle it all is.

This week we'll introduce you to a part of the forests  you may not have thought much about -- the Underground Forest, a teeming Jurassic Park in miniature that's just as complex, and as fascinating, and more mysterious than the forest aboveground. Check it out by clicking here for our new Fresh from the Woods feature.

See you in the woods!
