BLACK SEPTEMBER
A Call from Israel, for a
Three-Month Prayer Period June 19th, 2011 |
ALFEI MENASHE, ISRAEL
Shalom Dear Friends,
At 4:30 a.m. local time on September the 5th, 1972, in Munich, Germany, Palestinian commandos armed with automatic rifles broke into the quarters of the Israeli team at the Olympic Village, killed two members of the team and took nine others hostage. Twenty-three hours later, the nine hostages had also been murdered. So was a German policeman. So were five of the Palestinian terrorists.
The 1972 massacre is by far the worst case of violence in Olympic history since the modern games began in 1896, and one of the most notorious cases of terrorism on record. (From an article in About.com (clickable)).
The armed attack on 11 unarmed, innocent sportsmen in Munich, was, and still is, perceived to be a major turning point and breakthrough in Arab and Muslim eyes. But this 'success' of Palestinian terrorism, was preceded by a major defeat, afflicted on it by no other than another Arab-Muslim country a year or so before the Munich event. September 1970 is known in Palestinian history as the Black September, and sometimes is referred to as the "era of regrettable events." It was the month when Hashemite King Hussein of Jordan (the father of the current king) moved to quash the militancy of Palestinian organizations and restore his own monarchy's rule over the country. The violence resulted in the deaths of thousands of people, the vast majority Palestinian. Armed conflict lasted until July 1971 with the expulsion of the Palestine Liberation Organization and thousands of Palestinian fighters, to Lebanon.
Therefore, the month of September seems to bear a major, significant and symbolic weight, when it comes to the Palestinian Struggle against "The Zionist Enemy", represented by the miraculous existence of the Jewish State of Israel.
The month of September represents not only their struggle to form a sovereign state of their own, but also their struggle to annihilate and wipe the State of Israel off the map and off any Historical record, once and for all - and only then - peace will come to earth... or so they perceive.
However, September seems to have become a Symbolic Month for the Muslim World, to wage their Jihad-Holy-War against all "Infidels"! Choosing September as the month to attack the Twin Towers in America, was NOT just a mere coincidence either.
The short-term, planned Unilateral declaration of a new, Palestinian State in the UN this coming September is NOT about forming another, unbiblical Muslim State alongside the Jewish State, but about the long-term plan to form an Arab-Muslim Entity INSTEAD of it!
This article is intended to help you to make an Informed Decision to pray for AND with Israel, out of understanding the facts. We are looking for committed Prayer Warriors that will stand in the gap with us, and plead with the Lord to AVERT AND FOIL the plans of the nations:
"The LORD foils the plans of the nations; He thwarts the purposes of the peoples" (Psalm 33:10).

A PALESTINIAN STATE BY SEPTEMBER 2011?
At the end of May 2011, the Former Chief Palestinian Negotiator with Israel, Saeb Erekat, presented a work plan and timeline to be used, towards a Unilateral Establishment and International Recognition of a Palestinian state, at the UN, and according to the UN Charter. It is indeed quite a lengthy procedure, that requires approaching both The UN's Security Council AND The General Assembly, with special concessions to do so. But having the majority of the Members hating Israel, and looking for ways to de-legitimize her existence - It will be like a piece of cake!
Yet, Saeb Erekat is quite skillful in creating proper Gantt Charts, in a very meticulous way, that will probably bear some fruit at the end... The Palestinian intention is two-fold: 1. To be given a Statehood, and 2. To be accepted as a full member-state to the UN.
The USA, along with 4 other Permanent Members of the Security Council, has the power to veto the decisions made by the Security Council.
If the USA is forced to use its VETO, the Palestinians will ask the General Assembly to recognize Palestine as a State, without it being a full UN member.
IT'S ALL ABOUT INCENTIVES, YOU SEE...
But the issue here is not the Voting Protocol of the Biased and Hypocritical UN, but the fact that by going the route of a Unilateral procedure in the UN - the Palestinians are actually by-passing the need to negotiate anything with Israel. The Unilateral way is the only way they can get everything - and give nothing in return!
What incentive do they have, to come to the negotiating table, and make any concessions? What incentive do they have for recognizing the existence of Israel as the Jewish State, and the Homeland for the entire Jewish People? What incentive do they have for abandoning their demand of "The Right of Return" - an impossible demand that is intended to flood Jewish Israel with millions of Muslim Refugees, that will become Israeli Citizens, and then, by one round of elections - will legally make Israel into a Fundamentalist Muslim State (see Lebanon...), and re-name it "Palestine"? What incentive do they have for negotiating DEFENDABLE Borders for Israel? What incentive do they have, for publically and officially, abandoning all past Palestinian Charters, calling for the destruction and annihilation of Israel? |

"...BE PREPARED - IN SEASON AND OUT OF SEASON": ISRAEL IS GETTING READY
Israel and her leaders may not know Yeshua and the New Testament yet, but they definitely are aware of the principle mentioned in 2Tim 4:2...
So, a Nationwide 5-day Drill is commencing today, Sunday the 19th, including the IDF, and all the Security and Rescue Services.
Israel needs to be prepared to deal with ALL national emergencies, to ensure the safety of ALL it's citizens, irrespective of race or religion: Jew, Muslim and Christian alike.
In addition to getting ready for a scenario where Israel's population is attacked by missiles from three different sides-countries - we are getting ready for two major possibilities:
- Dealing with both Palestinian and other Civilian, "non-armed" Muslims, that will try and come in their droves into Israel, by cutting and breaking our border fences. If Israel does anything militarily, as she has the right to do, to prevent them from coming in - they will cry to World Media, AND to the UN, that Israel is using soldiers to harm "peaceful and innocent civilians".
- Dealing with Israeli Arab citizens that agreed to remain in Israel after 1948, accepted full Israeli Citizenship, vote for our House of Representative Legislators, and on the whole - are quite prosperous.
But... their loyalty lies with their Palestinian Brothers, and it is expected that they will, come against us from within, should a Palestinian State be declared Unilaterally by the UN. Israeli Arab citizens reside everywhere, and most of their big villages and towns are strategically situated along Israel's grid of major traffic & transportation arteries - usually positioned higher than these roads: In Galilee, Central Israel and the Negev Desert |

WHERE IS ALFEI MENASHE SITUATED IN THIS PICTURE?
You may be asking why we are giving you all these facts....
Well, Alfei Menashe is positioned right along the seam-line between Israel (pre-'67 borders) and Samaria ("occupied territory"). The border for the new Palestinian state.!
Although we have not been given specific areas of where demonstrations or uprisings are expected to take place, during September, we have been told that this week there will be a major concentration on our area:
- the towns, villages, kibbutzim and moshavim which are no more than 6 to 8 kilometers away.
- the motorway and main roads into Kfar Saba and Tel Aviv, which are our only route from Samaria into Israel.
If the expected demonstrations are the same as those we have witnessed, during the past weeks, on the Syrian border, with Israel, then they will enter Israel via these areas, and take control of these major roads.
WILL ALFEI MENASHE BE LOST?
You have probably realized why we are asking for prayer specifically for the next 3 months.
A unilateral declaration of Palestinian Statehood, within the non-defendable pre-1967 borders, with no land swops, with or without a Peace agreement with Israel - will have a direct bearing on where we live, and what the Lord has called us to do here, in Alfei Menashe, Samaria.
Because Alfei Menashe is positioned right on this seam-line, our situation is strategic, both geographically and spiritually.
We are the gateway between the territories of Samaria (the "West bank"), and Israel.
We are the gateway into one of Israel's largest cities - Kfar Saba, in Central Israel.
As we explained in one of our earlier Letters this year - Shomron /Samaria - is both the Cradle of the Hebraic/Jewish Faith, and hence of the Christian Faith, AND Israel's protective barrier against "the enemy from the east". You can find it by clicking here.
In 1996, the Lord spoke to Uzi about being an Elder at the City Gate, and in 2004 He said He was calling Uzi to be like a Prophetic Eagle's Eye, to hover over the Land, being a watchman, warning, yet encouraging us to pray. |

WE URGE YOU TO PRAY WITH US....
The enemy, Satan, always wants to 'kill steal and destroy', but we know that as we pray, his plans can be thwarted, and chaos, injury and loss of life will be averted.
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
