Today's Theme for Israel: "Your eyes will see Jerusalem, a Peaceful Abode, a Tent that will NOT be moved!"(Isa. 33:20)

IMPORTANT NOTE: The following article is NOT a political Column! However, it is an analytical exercise, intended to compare and align current Global Affairs & Processes, with the Word of God and His Principles, in order to draw some sensible conclusions from the results.

As at the beginning of this year, two "New Brooms" took office: one in Washington, and one in Jerusalem, respectively. Shortly after that, almost in parallel, into formation came an old-new, Tsunami-size wave, of determined and focused American pressure on Israel. And when the American President says something with a lot of self-conviction - the rest of the Western World and Europe follow. Never in history, did they manage to find, even one good reason, not to pressurize this little Pin-size State, Israel.

What are we talking about, you may ask? Well, we are talking about the renewed invigoration with which the world, led by the newly appointed President of the US and his new, Liberal-Leftist Administration, is exerting unreasonable and DANGEROUS pressure on Israel to dismantle itself, practically to stop defending itself, and to give up the Core Place of the Jewish Nation: "The City of OUR Great King" - Jerusalem.

Our Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, said recently: "If the Arabs drop their weapons, even today - all violence & hostilities in this region shall cease from being. If, however, the Jews drop their weapons, even today - the State of Israel shall cease from being. This is one luxury we cannot possibly afford".

In the months of May & June of 1967, 42 years ago, Israel was Militarily threatened by THREE Arab Nations: Egypt in our South, Jordan on our East, and Syria on our North-East. But what about the Western Border? Well, there is no enemy there: this is where the Mediterranean Sea is. Israel was only 19 years old at the time. Israel defended itself against the well-planned & co-ordinated attack by three enemy countries. In return, God granted her all of the Sinai Desert and the Gaza Strip from Egypt in the south, an area twice as big as Israel. He granted all of the Golan Heights from Syria in the north, and in the east - all of Judea & Samaria, on the west bank of the River Jordan, from the Hashemite Kingdom ("The West Bank"). Yet, the highlight of the victory was that, after 2000 years, God gave us back THE OLD CITY AND EASTERN PARTS OF JERUSALEM.

Three years before this Victory, in 1964, the notorious Yasser Arafat formed the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), and thus the Evil, Global Radical Islamic Terrorism was birthed, in order to conquer and dominate the world! Yet, the Mask, and hidden pretence for it's existence, was and still is, the "Political Legitimacy of 'Palestine' to exist". The entire Western and Enlightened World is suffering from the consequences, including major powers such as the USA, Britain, Spain, Australia and Russia.

And now again, we are witnessing a very uncomfortable and dangerous upsurge of Global hatred towards Israel. President Obama, in his na�vet�, along with Secretary Clinton and former President Carter, seem to think the dismantling of all Jewish Settlements in Judea & Samaria, pulling the IDF out, from the same, giving the "Palestinians" East Jerusalem and the Old City in order for them to make it the Capital of Palestine is the only way to achieve "Sustainable and Lasting Peace in the World"! Well Mr. President: True Peace in this world is possible only when the PRINCE OF PEACE, our Lord Yeshua, comes again, and rules over it! Is it mere Na�vet�, we wonder, or a part of a blasphemous, pre-planned and evil scheme against God and His Plans?

But neither the current President of the USA, nor any former president of this basically-friendly nation, nor any other European Leader for that matter, seem to understand that Muslim-Arab hatred for Israel started centuries before the Foundations of the first Israeli-Jewish House were even laid in Judea and Samaria!

The Arab Nations refused to allow a Jewish State from the beginning, and they objected to the UN's Partitioning Plan of November 1947.

That's why 7 Arab states fought the newly formed Israel for 10 months, and lost.

But here are some words of caution to the Leaders of the World, including the Superpowers: do NOT meddle with God's Covenantal Plans for Israel.

Here are some scriptures, to substantiate these words of caution:

Psalms 48:1-2:
Great is the LORD, and most worthy of praise, in the city of our God, his holy mountain. 48:2 It is beautiful in its loftiness, the joy of the whole earth. Like the utmost heights of Zaphon is Mount Zion, the City of the Great King.
Psalms 132:13-17:
For the LORD has chosen Zion, he has desired it for his dwelling:
"This is my resting place for ever and ever; here I will sit enthroned, for I have desired it-- I will bless her with abundant provisions; her poor will I satisfy with food.
I will clothe her priests with salvation, and her saints will ever sing for joy.
"Here I will make a horn grow for David and set up a lamp for my anointed one".

God is promising to "Make a Horn to grow", a Sign of guaranteed Respect, Honour and Godly Provision, in Jerusalem, for David, NOT for Muhammad! The God of Israel is a Jealous God, and will never share His Place of Dwelling, His City, His Throne, with anybody - let alone with Allah!

Time will tell. If no Believer picks up the courage and boldness to go and talk to Mr. Obama, to both warn and persuade him to abandon the route of error, then tough and uncomfortable times lie ahead both for Israel and the US. Even though there may be multitudes of Believers in the US - it is the "Man at the Top" that determines the fate of the nation! Mr. Obama and his aids need Prayer, today!

In an excellent article published immediately after Mr. Obama's Speech in Cairo University in Egypt (June the 4th), and named "Is Jihad Outdated? How Islamists Work the System" - *Steve Emerson concludes with three major points:

1. Obama's downplaying of the Islamist threat exemplifies the "unraveling of the consensus that started to develop about the dangers of radical Islam" after 9/11. This threat goes well beyond terrorism, extending to a nonviolent, stealth jihad of "infiltrating or subverting or intimidating; or changing the American system by affecting our values, such as freedom of the press and freedom of speech."

2. In his view, stealth jihad is just as dangerous as violent jihad, if not more so, because it is mostly legal and operates below the radar. Emerson lamented that "Americans don't seem threatened by anything less than the act of violence," even though prominent Islamists like cleric Yusuf al-Qaradawi speak of conquering America and Europe via proselytizing, conversion, immigration (clickable), and ultimately the ballot box.

3. Emerson concluded by emphasizing that the threat from both violent and stealth jihad is real and shows no signs of abatement, pointing to a Muslim Brotherhood memo from nearly twenty years ago that outlines plans for "destroying the Western civilization from within." "Unless we act and recognize this danger immediately," Emerson warned, "the future is bleak."

* Steven Emerson is a leading authority on Islamic extremist networks and their activities, from violent jihad to stealth jihad. The founder and executive director of the Investigative Project on Terrorism, Emerson has testified before Congress on numerous occasions and regularly assists government agencies with combating radical Islam.

So, Radical Islam, with its clear aspirations to "Destroy Western Civilization" is not "Israel's Monopoly": The obliteration of Israel and its memory is merely an excuse for the existence of Global Islamic Terrorism and domination, not the ultimate goal!

Our humble advice to Mr. Obama, to his Administration, and to other Western Leaders is: READ YESHUA'S ADVISE IN Matthew 7:3-5:

³ "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? ⁴ How can you say to your brother, `Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? ⁵ You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye".

As for us, here in Israel - we have God's IRREVOCABLE and COMFORTING promises. Here are some excerpts:

Isaiah 33:22:

For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king;

It is He who will save us.

Isaiah 32:15-18:

¹⁵ Till the Spirit is poured upon us from on high, and the desert becomes a fertile field, and the fertile field seems like a forest.

¹⁶ Justice will dwell in the desert and righteousness live in the fertile field.

¹⁷ The fruit of righteousness will be peace; the effect of righteousness will be quietness and confidence forever.

¹⁸ My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest.

Psalms 48:1-2:

Look upon Zion, the city of our festivals; Your eyes will see Jerusalem, a peaceful abode, a tent that will not be moved;

Its stakes will never be pulled up, nor any of its ropes broken.

And with these promises permanently in front of us - we have need of nothing else - we lack nothing, and we want for nothing; these promises are "Yes and Amen"! Praise His Name.
