Today's Theme for Israel: "Do not touch My Anointed ones; do My Prophets no harm!"(Ps. 105:15)

As part of experiments in Behavioural & Learning research, some distinguished scientists took a snail, and put it into a "T" shaped tube. Their intention was to monitor the snail's Learning Abilities. To the far right-hand side of the T-tube they connected a very low voltage electric current. It took 20,000 times of getting this small shock, before the snail learnt the lesson, and stopped going to the right.

Psalm 105 is described in the Hebraic tradition, as the Psalm of "God's Marvellous Deeds for Israel" (a similar passage is found in 1st Chronicles 16:7-22).
In Psalm 105, the Psalmist states very clearly, that:

"He remembers his covenant forever, the word He commanded, for a thousand generations, the covenant He made with Abraham, the oath he swore to Isaac. He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as an everlasting covenant: 'To you I will give the land of Canaan, as the portion you will inherit.'" (Ps. 105:8-11).

This is only but ONE portion of MANY in the Bible, where the God of Abraham, Isaac & Israel, and the Father of our Beloved Saviour Yeshuah, underlines, re-iterates and emphasizes HIS own Covenant with His Nation Israel, dwelling in the Land He allotted to them to posses, forever!

The same Psalm, 105:7, turns to the Nations, and says of God: He is the LORD our God; His judgments are in all the earth. This is a little "hint", that our God CAN & WILL judge all the earth - every nation on it, if it is necessary. The Psalmist also adds a short History Lesson, and says of God:

"When they (the Israelites) were but few in number, few indeed, and strangers in it (in the Land), they wandered from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another. He allowed no one to oppress them; for their sake he rebuked kings: 'Do not touch my anointed ones; do my prophets no harm.'"

September 2001, Durban I Conference. The Common Thread of the meetings - a method for "Liberating Jerusalem, by Machine-guns based on faith in Islam". Will Durban II be any different?

Why are we telling you all of this?
Because of the upcoming United Nation's "Durban Review Conference" in Geneva, Switzerland. The conference, which will convene between 20 - 24 April, is also known as "Durban II", and is a review of the previous conference which took place in September 2001, in Durban, South Africa.

We cannot possibly explain in detail all of the implications of this infamous "World Conference Against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance",officially organized, sponsored & hosted by UN, and strongly backed by the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) and numerous Islamic, Israel Hating NGOs. It will suffice to say here, in this somewhat limited venue, that "The first UN Durban Racism Conference, which ended September 8, 2001 - three days before the terrible events of September 11th - was a notorious outpouring of hate and anti-Semitism directed at Jews, Israel and the United States" (Eye on the UN, April 6th, 2009). The Leader of this Conference is Iran, the UN Member State which Advocates the total Destruction and annihilation of another Member State - Israel. Co-chairing the Conference are known Human Rights Protecting and Supporting states, such as Libya (the Chair), Cuba, Iran (Leading State), Syria and Pakistan. And what does the Durban II Conference have to do with Psalm 105, you may ask?

Everything! This is when the True Church of God, all over the world, needs to rise up, watch and pray, for God to "Foil the Plans of the Nations", according to Psalm 33:10: The LORD foils the plans of the nations; he thwarts the purposes of the peoples.

Pray against the official demonization and the de-legitimization of the State of Israel and of the Jewish People. Pray against the growing global supremacy of Islam, officially backed by the UN. Today, be like the Sons of Issachar, who understood the signs of the times; have good measure of Discernment, under the Spirit of God, to know how to pray, and for the knowledge and understanding of the broader picture of what He is doing in the world today! Let us all make sure that the Church does not become this snail: let us make sure that she stands with Israel, in the spirit of the words written in Psalm 122, right now.
