Council TowerHUD Helps Rogerson Go Green:
Retrofit Cash Awarded
Council Tower in Roxbury is getting a green facelift, thanks to major HUD stimulus program funds.  Over $2 million is committed to replace elements of both the common areas and individual apartments with sustainable materials and energy efficient appliances.  The next project to go green? Farnsworth House. The JP residence for low-income elders is under final review to also receive retrofit grant funds. "This is an important step for us at Rogerson; becoming more sustainable is the right thing to do for both our residents and the environment," said Laurie Trilling, Rogerson's Vice President of Operations.

Design & Shoot Ad Campaign
This past season, the brainchild of Rogerson Overseer Erica Corsano came to life: an ad campaign (and cousin video) designed to bring elders living in Rogerson residences and young Boston up-and-comers together, with the goal of getting the Rogerson message out in a new and unique way. The project was realized by a group of talented volunteers, including photographer Mike Diskin, Stuff Magazine's Creative Director.  Click here to see the final product on Rogerson's home page.
