Funds Available for Ministers Serving Indiana Congregations
Best Practices Conference
I know, it seems too good to be true. The information included in this message can make a huge difference in your financial well-being. Thanks to a generous grant from the Lilly Endowment, Indiana Ministries has been able to create the Financial Freedom Fund, which provides funding and financial education for pastors all across the state. Please look over this material carefully, mark your calendar to attend one of the Best Practices Conferences described below, and explore how the Financial Freedom Fund can be a part of a healthier financial future for you and your family. If you need to know more, contact me (caddison@indianaministries.org) or Cindy Talley (ctalley@indianaministries.org) at the Indiana Ministries office. See you at the Conference!!

Testimonies |
My family has been greatly encouraged by the care that Indiana Ministries gives to the families of pastors. The Financial Freedom Fund is another example of Indiana Ministries' empowering pastors to serve Christ. It seems too good to be true, but my family is receiving vital assistance in the form of funding for student loans, health care, and a pension! We are grateful that God has used the FFF to help us experience deeper financial peace! - Daniel Miller

We have been very blessed to receive assistance for my school loans and for health care. In fact, the day we received the assistance for health care, we had no idea where the money was going to come from...that check was a life saver on many levels! Thanks to the FFF, we have been able to have some peace of mind with regard to finances. Thank You! - Bruce Applegate |
I am receiving assistance with pension. I have 31 years in ministry and I have not had a congregation do anything toward my pension. I have served five different congregations, with one being served twice. My entire pension has come from my own pocket. The Board of Trustees at my current church sent two Board members to a Best Practices conference. The Board decided to give $25 toward my pension. FFF matches and I give $50. I am so grateful to FFF, Indiana Ministries, Lilly and my church Board for making this happen. I hope this will continue at an even greater level for future pastors. - Terry Canfield |
Last year I received a grant on my student loan, and with our tax return money, we were able to pay that student loan off. We received the health care grant also, and were able to use that money for health care issues. After paying off my student loan, we took the monthly payment money from my student loan and put it towards my wife's student loan. Thanks Financial Freedom Fund for helping us become student loan debt free. Thanks for your help with giving pastors good financial advice, and financial grants to help us get the nudge and leverage we need to start climbing out of debt. - Tom Schuurman
