Evangelism for Dummies (Part Two)
A study conducted by Lifeway Research found that 80% of those who attend church (one or more times a month) believe they have a personal responsibility to share their faith. Followers of Christ know that sharing their faith is important, yet according to the survey only 39% of those surveyed shared the gospel in previous six months; I wonder if 39% is a bit overstated.
Here are the most telling findings of Lifeway's survey:
- 75% of churchgoers say they feel comfortable in their ability to effectively communicate the gospel
- 83% are hesitant to let others know that they are Christian
Think about that, three out of four Christians believe...

Have you registered for the 2013
Church of God Ministries Yearbook?
Annual registration with Church of God Ministries provides updated information publishable in the 2013 Yearbook of the Church of God. It is an expression of connectivity with the Church of God.
The minister's registration, although often completed by a church, is separate from the church registration.
The clergy ID card is a benefit of registration. Cards are typically mailed to registered ministers in late December or early January.
Register online at www.chog.org/AnnualReg by September 14th.
Registrations received or postmarked after September 14, 2012 may not be included
in the 2013 Yearbook of the Church of God
