Think Before You Tweet

I started a Facebook account years ago to keep track of what my teenage children were up to. Years have passed since then, so I think enough time has passed that, if my grown children read this, I'm safe in making that confession. It didn't take long before my Facebook account took on a life of its own; I reconnected with extended family; old high school and college friends friended me; and lots of folks in churches that I've served connected with me. I established a Twitter account to follow people. If you have a Twitter account, what I've just said makes sense to you; if not, it sounds like I'm a stalker! In the Twitter world, you can follow people of influence (pastors, writers, newsmakers, athletes, etc.). You follow people, and in turn...

My Adventure Down Under with Journey Church, Australia

In recent years, every Church of God congregation disappeared from Australia. Through the leadership of Pastor David Ravell, the Church of God planted Journey Church in Pacific Pines along the northern Gold Coast with the goal of launching a new outreach for Christ in Australia. Indiana Ministries is a key partner with Journey Church providing funding, governance and helping Journey Church connect with Indiana congregations. When Journey Church needed someone to invest three months with their children's ministry, I contacted Jackie Brady to see if she would be interested.
