Journey Church News
by David Ravell

In 2008 as we prepared to have our first preview worship gatherings to bring together contacts we had made, and promote Journey in the community, the biggest challenge facing us was finding a place to meet.

I remember talking with a friend who had planted 2 churches on the Gold Coast, and asking him what our biggest challenges would be. He said number one would be finding a place to meet. I have to confess I did not quite believe him at first, thinking that if God wants this church planted He will find a way. Of course that was true, however my friend was correct that this would be our biggest challenge.

CitySpring's Church Outreach Experience

by Matt Gaylor

The Noblesville Street Dance is an event that the city puts on in the downtown square. They invite vendors to set up booths, and they provide live music and a space for the people of the community to gather.  We've found that these downtown events are a great opportunity for CitySpring to serve our community.  Another perk about these events is that we don't have to generate the crowd since the city does all of the promotion work for us.

Have you registered for the

2012 Church of God Ministries Yearbook??

Annual registration with Church of God Ministries provides updated information publishable in the 2012 Yearbook of the Church of God.  It is an expression of connectivity with the Church of God.

The minister's registration, although often completed by a church, is separate from the church registration.

The clergy ID card is a benefit of registration.  Cards are typically mailed to registered ministers in late December or early January.

Register online by September 19th at:

www.chog.org/AnnualReg

*This registration is separate from your 2011 Indiana Ministries Credential Update*
