Changes at Indiana Ministries
|
At the fall annual meeting of Indiana Ministries, the General Assembly overwhelmingly affirmed the initial steps in implementing Vision 2015 by approving the funding for a new staff position that will likely be called State Health Pastor. Al Ells, Director of Leaders That Last, completed an organizational consult before the end of 2010 for Indiana Ministries to insure the following: Doug Talley is focusing on his sweet spot and has the support needed to be effective at a high level,Position the current staff for strength and identify any staffing holes,Identify the profile and qualifications of the new staff position. The report was very affirming of the current staff and identified that the foundational components are in place to pursue Vision 2015. One recommended change was to place all administrative and foundational ministries and office staff under Jenene Lighty's oversight. To reflect this change Jenene's title has been upgraded to Director of Administration and Credentialing. One of the practical things this means is that when you call the Indiana Ministries' office, Mimi, Cindy or Jenene will be able to assist you with most of your questions. They have both the authority and the expertise. This change is to better serve the churches and pastors in Indiana.
