One of the keys to being an effective pastor in today's
world is being a continuous (life long) leader.
I remember when I graduated from seminary I thought, "Finally I am through with all this school
and learning stuff." Man was I
naïve. As I walked into my office at my
first church assignment, my education was just beginning. Even after 30 plus years in ministry, I am
still learning and am still hungry to learn.
I hope you are, too.
One of the things I've been learning about is finding my
sweet spot in ministry. Pastors
(including state pastors) are often called upon to do a great variety of
things. Problem is that few of us do a
lot of things really well. Often it
seems like what clamors most for our attention are the things we are mediocre

The program and conference are free to a pastor and two lay leaders from each congregation!
