Recession Proof Your Gift Giving

DAY 7

The holidays can be challenging, please make sure you are pacing yourself.  This time of the year is especially difficult for those who have lost loved ones.  My mother died eight years ago and when the holidays come around I begin to feel sad, especially when I hear certain songs or when I look at cards that are for mothers.  It reminds me that I no longer have her with me to buy her a card.  Once our parents are gone there can be a void and grief may last a long time, holidays can ignite those losses.

This is the final day of Holiday Gift Ideas.  Thank you for sharing your ideas and gratitude.   Our friends and family are invaluable and can be the best gift we have, treasure them.  That being said I leave you with these gifts:  (Submitted by Mildred T. Thank You-edited and revised by Lorraine Edey)

3)     The gift of a note-It can be as simple as "I love you" or as creative as a "sonnet".
