Recession Proof Your Gift Giving

DAY 5

What does this time of the year mean to you?  What is the reason for the season?  I believe it is to remember and share with one another.
More sharing from me:

1)  Purchase a pretty jar and write/type on small colored strips of paper as many positive aspects about the recipient of the gift as you can.   Put a pretty ribbon, bow around the jar, and give it to them.  It helps people to know that we see the good in them.  This gift keeps on giving.

2)  Write a special note on decorative paper and let the individual know that you will be praying for them for thirty days or whatever timeframe you desire.

3)  Amazon has books, audio-books and CD's, that are used or like new and they are a fraction of what you would pay at a regular bookstore.   I have personally purchased books and CD's that cost $1.00, $3.00 and are in perfect condition.  If you know someone who enjoys reading or listening to music you can explore Amazon and see what treasures you can find.

4)  A family collage would be a wonderful family gift.   If you have lots of pictures of friends you may also choose to do a collage for your friends.  Frame the collages with frames you purchased from the discount stores.   A gift to remember.

5)  Anyone would appreciate "prepaid photo developing envelopes".

6)  Give a Specialty Cookbook for the person that loves to cook or wants to learn how to cook specialty dishes.
